sitewaps high 31
a siteswap explanation and an example of siteswap.
What is the siteswap :
Siteswap is a concept used in juggling, and it can be applied to diabolo, based on the assumption that diabolo can be considered one handed juggling. When doing aerial diabolo (2, 3, more), the diabolos are thrown at an even pace, defining a rythm where a diabolo is thrown on every beat. Siteswap links a number to the height of each throw. Writing a sequence of numbers is equivalent to write a sequence of throws. When varying the height of throws, the order in which diabolos are caught can change, hence the name: site swap.
- 0= time out you can do an up
- 1=sun or magic knot
- 2=throwing to the height of 2
- 3= throwing to the height of 3
- 4=throwing to the height of 4

The 31
The 31 is the most simple siteswap with 2 diabolos
when you do « 1 », the easiest is to do a sun but you can also do a magic knot
we do suns more often .
A few advices for the 31 (sun)
- Take yout time
- Try to get a 2 high rather low ( just a little over your head)
( these 2 tricks are also true for the 330 and for all siteswaps, I think) - Don't throw like crazy. Do your sun with care, train to them with just one diabolo
start wrap suicide 2 diabolos
suns' tourbillon
