efficient and can be beautiful.
The wrap is done just after the start. Then, I make 2 round accelerations, then a vertical version of it.
You can see in this profile view, that the right hand is a little bit behind the left hand.
You have to make wrap. You push the diabolo to the left with a movement of your right stick. Just before it goes to near the left stick, you pull the right stick in order to pull the diabolo to the right and up at the same time. The left stick keep a small tension on the string and pull to the down. That pushes the diabolo back to the right. That's the 2 first "round" of my vidéo. On the end, I make a "vertical" variation of the acceleration :)
